Askemo places great importance on the reliability of the feedback and reviews it receives. For this reason, Askemo customers are not able to delete feedback and/or reviews themselves. Furthermore, only genuine customers can leave a review — non-customers do not have this option.
Reviewers, on the other hand, always retain control: they can edit or delete their feedback at any time.
Every Askemo review is automatically sent via a unique URL. This means a review can only be submitted once; after that, the link is blocked.
There is also an option to use a generic review URL. In that case, however, a restriction applies: a maximum of one review per device can be submitted every 24 hours. If a reviewer chooses to submit it anonymously, it will never be visible on an askemo client’s public website — internally, the feedback remains accessible, of course.
askemo also checks reviews both automatically and manually. If there is any doubt about authenticity, we contact both the reviewer and the askemo client to verify this. If authenticity cannot be established, the review is always removed, regardless of whether it is positive or negative.
If an askemo client leaves a review about their own service or product, it is removed immediately. This prevents conflicts of interest and ensures reliability.
The average score is calculated by adding up all the review ratings received and then dividing this total by the number of reviews. This results in a transparent and objective overall score.
It is not permitted to pay anyone to post a review. Reviews created in this way are therefore removed immediately. Some platforms allow sponsored reviews and state this explicitly; askemo has made a conscious decision not to allow this, so that the reliability of feedback remains guaranteed.
