Regina Coeli – better known as the Sisters of Vught – not only helps people communicate better in a foreign language, but also understand the associated culture. With language training in ten languages and a team of over 250 staff from more than twenty countries, human contact is at the heart of the organisation.
However, HR manager Maud Smits found herself reaching the limits of their traditional, biennial employee survey.
The traditional survey offered little scope to respond promptly to signals from within the organisation. The results mainly provided a retrospective view, whereas Regina Coeli wants to look ahead and actively involve employees in improvements.
Maud noticed that modern employee surveys have become much more dynamic. Shorter, more frequent surveys make it possible to gauge sentiment more quickly, better understand what is going on and take immediate action. This fits seamlessly with Regina Coeli’s way of working.
”Door continu te blijven luisteren en afstemmen, ontstaat er meer grip op wat er speelt in de organisatie,”
Regina Coeli chose Askemo because of its user-friendly dashboards and flexible setup. “The results are visible in real time,” says Maud. “I can immediately discuss them with teams and plan concrete actions together. What’s more, the collaboration is very pleasant. Communication lines are short and changes are implemented quickly.”
The new approach has made all the difference. Employees notice that their feedback is genuinely being acted upon, which boosts engagement and generates positive energy. “Whereas we used to look back, we now mainly look ahead,” says Maud.
Regina Coeli demonstrates how modern employee feedback keeps an organisation moving forward – with Askemo as a partner for continuous dialogue and growth.
